Transport is more than a business for the Harrold family. It is a tradition spanning five generations and 47 years in the transport industry. Catherine and BJ Harrold have worked together since 1994, building practical experience across general freight, bulk goods, dangerous goods and produce. Today, their son is part of the operation too, driving trucks and even lending his voice to the family's advertising.

Even as the work has changed, the way Harrold Transport operates has stayed personal. Customers deal directly with the family rather than being passed between unfamiliar contacts. Harrold Transport has continued to evolve with its customers and community. The business shifted from predominantly completing work for Bunnings to supporting a broader mix of freight, delivery and landscape supply requirements. Today, the family works with local individuals, small businesses and larger corporations, handling everything from everyday freight to bulky landscape materials and other delivery needs across Townsville and surrounding districts.
