Moffett Forklift Delivery Advantage
Our truck-mounted Moffett forklift weighs around two tonnes, helping us deliver palletised and bulky freight while putting less equipment weight across the site than a standard five-tonne forklift. This can be especially valuable for builders and landscapers working on softer ground during Townsville's wet season, where heavier equipment may increase the risk of disturbing wet surfaces and tracking mud onto surrounding roads.
The Moffett allows suitable freight to be unloaded and moved closer to where it is required, depending on access and site conditions. For customers arranging pavers, retaining wall blocks, landscape supplies and similar loads, this combination of transport and truck-mounted forklift capability can make delivery more practical.
Trucks and Transport Equipment
Our fleet supports a broad range of freight and delivery work, including forklift deliveries and tilt tray-style work. Harrold Transport has also added a new truck with additional capability. As the full specifications and truck sizes have not yet been confirmed in the supplied brief, these details should be added once verified rather than making unsupported capacity claims.
Delivery Services That Fit
Our freight services include delivery of turf, spas, pavers, retaining wall blocks, soil, rock and other landscape supplies. We can also transport trees and hedging stock, posts and solar panels, providing flexible support for different delivery requirements across Townsville and surrounding districts.
Local Pickup and Depot Feed
We also provide local pickup and depot feed services for linehaul operators. This helps connect freight moving beyond the immediate Townsville service area, including growing freight movements heading towards Mount Isa and Cloncurry.
